Heroes are born in darkness. Kissed by a blood moon as the wolves howl, Caressed by fire in the darkest pits of hell, Forged by the hammer of fate against the anvil of destiny, Build for a world unwelcoming.

Heroes are born in darkness, Ambassadors of a light they have never borne, Guides to treasures they do not possess Soldiers of wars not of their own choosing, Doomed to a fate beyond their reckoning.

Heroes are born in darkness, And deign themselves greater than their circumstance. They stand in the face of danger, And embrace pain with open arms. Taking on more than was asked of them

Heroes are born in darkness, As are we all. Into fates we barely comprehend, Into journeys we never started. So stand and fight. Through Hell and High water Through pain and strife Through madness and balefire. Stand and Fight
