Walk on, Walk on…

Welcome to Limbo, the land in between, The horrors without and the wonders within. Bare, featureless, land without fire, Or water, or earth, just burning desire.
Welcome to Limbo, waiting is mandatory, Till we’re off to hell, heaven, maybe purgatory. Till then, we wait, we bide our sweet time, For our name to be called; it shall be our time.
Welcome to Limbo, land of the Outcast, Where men sit and watch, their memories held fast. For sanity is lost, as dust is through a sieve, When one waits in a place, where there is no reprieve.
Welcome to Limbo, Stand, await your fate. Look to the sun, though none warms your pate. Look to the moon, though she is gone, They are but memories of a long-forgotten song.
Welcome to Limbo, remember to shuffle on, Foot after foot, and ‘ere before long, Shall you make it to the end, to no acclaim, And hear a whisper in the wind, calling your name.
